Les Rencontres de Chimie Physique of the SCF/SFP Physical Chemistry Division will take place from September 17 to 19, 2025.
The aim of these days is to bring together the physical chemistry community and to promote scientific exchange within the DCP and its subdivisions. Plenary lectures will be given by distinguished scientists in the various fields of physical chemistry, as well as by the winners of the DCP 2024 Awards.
Plenary speakers
Marc Baaden, Jean Perrin Conference "Taking Physical Chemistry into Cyberspace: From Computation to Immersive Discovery"
Christian George, Prix Chercheur Confirmé 2024 "Does the interfacial chemistry of atmospheric aerosols leads to the production of hydroxyl radicals?"
Victor Gonzalez, Prix Jeune Chercheur 2024 "Deciphering the synthesis, formulation and alteration of historical pigments at the multi-scale"
Joana Vaz Ramos, Prix de thèse 2024
Louis Godeffroy, Prix de thèse 2024 "Watching the electrochemistry of individual nickel-based nanoparticles by optical and X-ray microscopy"
Valérie Vallet, invited speaker "Quantum‑Chemical Insights into Actinide Bonding and Spectroscopy: 5f/6d Orbital Contributions, Spectral Signatures, and Volatility"
Diane Rebiscoul, invited speaker "How the behavior of water and ions in confinement explains the evolution of nanoporous materials in solution"
Oral presentations and posters
Attendees are encouraged to contribute to the RCP with oral or poster presentations. Priority will be given to young researchers (PhD students, post-docs, new permaments researchers).
